A roomy 2-in-1 tool, this Cuisinart grill-griddle combo lets you cook blueberry pancakes for breakfast and rosemary chicken breasts for dinner with a simple flip of its cooking surface. Coated with nonstick for less fat in cooking and easier cleanup, the cooking plate features one smooth side and one ribbed side. In either configuration, excess grease and fat runs off through slits in one end to the drip tray below. Measuring 18-1/2 by 11 inches, the grill surface accommodates enough food for the whole family or cooks several different dishes at once. Streamlined yet substantial, the base combines a stainless-steel frame with plastic legs, making it stable yet manageable in weight. The temperature control probe inserts simply in one end, and an indicator light signals when the surface has achieved the desired heat. Cleanup is made easier on this model by an immersible cooking plate and dishwasher-safe drip pan and scraping tool. Altogether, the grill measures 24-1/2 by 12 by 5 inches.
